Church Discipline Offered Online“Church Discipline? If we do that, everyone will leave and go to the church down the street!”

Why is it that churches with a very high view of Scripture are often the ones with very little plan or protocol for church discipline? As Jay Adams rightly puts it, “Discipline has been totally neglected, not only by liberals, but also by the modern conservative church” (Christian Counselor’s Manual, 1973, 56).

The role of biblical, redemptive, restorative church discipline is the subject of this online course. Dr. Buch-Wagler invites you to come and learn together about this volatile subject and how it can be practically lived out in the 21st century church.

This online course begins March 5th and runs for four weeks. Online classes are instructor-led classes that meet for discussion and activities in asynchronous (non-real-time) discussion through message boards in the Trinity Online Learning Center. Due to the Online Course schedule and structure, each Online Course allows a maximum enrollment of twenty (20).

While it is possible to enroll in a webinar right up to the first day of class, students are strongly urged to enroll at least one week prior to the course start date so as to ensure timely book delivery from MBS. To enroll in one or more classes or for more information, please contact your Academic Advisor by calling 812-853-0611, or contact them by email at contact@trinitysem.edu. You may be able to substitute one of these courses for another course in your degree program, please check with your advisor for details.
