biblical doctrine
Discover the value of the systematic study of theology and doctrine, explore and learn Christian Theology and Doctrine and expand your current level of biblical understanding. Investigate the foundational truths of the Christian faith and understand what it means to "study to show yourself approved, rightly dividing God's Word?"

Class meets just one night for 2 hours each week for just 4 weeks.

There is a varying range of beliefs and biases held by those who consider themselves to be a Christian; despite the fact the Bible clearly teaches there is "one body and one Spirit…one hope…one Lord, one faith, one baptism." (Ephesians 4:4-5) God intends that His own believe as one.

  • Become more knowledgeable of the essential doctrines by which we are saved and their theological context.
  • Become more competent to defend "…the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 3). In order to share or defend the faith, one must study God's Word. Doctrine simply means "teaching." God intends that His own know biblical doctrine.
  • Become more aware of the positive value of organizing and summarizing the truths of the biblical revelation of God to man.
  • Systematically learn the Word, internalizing spiritual truths taught by the Holy Spirit, while becoming proficient to recognize and refute counterfeit teachings offered by false prophets, teachers and movements. God intends that His own mark and avoid false teaching.
