Pastor Gary MillerTrinity is proud to welcome Pastor Gary Miller to its faculty!

Gary Miller has 40 years of ministry Service, serving 30 years as Worship Pastor in churches across America of every size and style. These churches include North Jacksonville Baptist Church, in Jacksonville, Florida; Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton Mississippi; Putnam City Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and planting a new work church in Jacksonville, Florida, Celebration Baptist Church. He has also served a number of years in crusade evangelism as a worship leader and ministry coordinator and has written over 250 songs, as well as serving as album producer, orchestrator, TV ministry producer, and leading worship conferences across our land.

In 2002, God led Gary to plant his second new work church, Crossroads Fellowship, in Lebanon, Tennessee. Over the past ten years the stories of changed lives (over 400 salvations) have just been remarkable! As Pastor, he has a calling to reach the truly unchurched souls. Over 80 percent of those reached have been people who have not had any church background. This unique ministry touches the lives of those dealing with addiction, incarceration, joblessness, spiritual bondage and abuse.

Pastor Miller will be teaching two new courses in the Pastoral Ministry Department, Worship in the 21st Century, and Church Planting: The Real Look. These courses will be offered as webinars for all degree levels.

Worship in the 21st Century looks at the difference between the tools of worship and the object of worship. Pastor Gary will take an in-depth look at these tools, and how they can best be used by the church to glorify God and change lives to transform the world. Different worship styles, how to assemble a worship ministry team, and looking outside the box will all be explored. Worship in the 21st Century will meet for four weeks, 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, and 9/27 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Church Planting: The Real Look examines the soul-searching process of being called by God to begin a new church. The philosophy behind a new church and the importance of a new church's beginnings are a fundamental part of setting it on the right track, in obedience to God. Servant evangelism, grass roots ministry, planning and growing the church and reaching out to the unchurched are all topics that will be covered in this course. Church Planting: The Real Look will meet for four weeks, beginning 10/8,10/15,10/22,10/29 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
